Entry Requirements
An average Attainment 8 score of 5.5 as well as a Grade 5 in English Language or Literature and Grade 5 in Maths. In addition, GCSE Grade B in Psychology is preferred.
An additional AS in Core Maths is advised if not taking Maths A Level.
What is Psychology?
Psychology can be defined as ‘the science of mind and behaviour’. Advanced Level covers a broad study of all aspects of the subject. It has become an increasingly popular A Level and has some scientific content but also requires you to develop your extended writing skills.
You will do a lot of note taking, some essay writing and you will also carry out psychological investigations. You will be encouraged to read!
