Parents and Carers. The DFE have published guidance on supporting the mental health of children and young people. During these uncertain times, talking through anxieties, feelings and emotions in a calm environment can be hugely supportive to many children. 😊 https://t.co/633DhlawLF

PLEASE RETWEET: with 36,000 families at our schools in London and Essex, we want to supply food parcels for those in need (on top of free school meals which we’re already doing). We’ll fully fund this but URGENTLY need a supermarket chain to help.

23/03/20

Thanks for letting us know, we’ll let the year head know who can investigate further. If you do experience any issues they are your first port of call.

23/03/20

We’ll keep parents fully up to date prior to further live lessons being delivered.

23/03/20

That’s great to hear!

23/03/20

For some year groups, students are working through set work via SharePoint and their online taught lessons will begin after Easter.

23/03/20

Absolutely, but not perfect....yet! It’s a huge change for staff and students and we’re really pleased with the effort they have put in so far. Well Done! 😊

23/03/20

A great effort from staff and students today. Our online lessons got off to an excellent start.

Thank you to the teachers and staff in schools across the country this morning - you are part of our vital front line in the fight against coronavirus. Help schools to focus on the children who need a place most, and keep your kids at home if you can. https://t.co/Zp4lHO7gSH

Just a reminder that will be holding physical activity sessions every morning starting from Monday. So get up and get active from the comfort of your own home.

21/03/20

We don’t know when the school will re-open to all students. We have to wait for the government to make that decision. We will open to the children of Key Workers on Monday if that applies to you, please let us know.

20/03/20

As we come to the end of an incredibly challenging week. We thank our fantastic staff, parents and most importantly students for their support & understanding. We cannot wait to be able to welcome everyone back when we are able to do so.

Remote working 2020

Study Resources for Remote Working

We want you to be able to access as much support as possible at home whilst you are working remotely, including preparing for public examinations. This page explains how we will make the resources you need available to you.

Year 11 & 13. We are planning to use MS Teams to deliver lessons to Year 11 & 13. All Year 11 &13 pupils have access to MS Teams and you will find your classes, subjects or year groups are already allocated in MS Teams. There’s lots of study materials and lessons for you to access there. You can download MS Teams onto your devices at home and your mobile for free. There are guides to help you do this here

Years 10 and 12. For these years structured work will be given via sharepoint.  Students must adhere deadlines for submission. More information will be availalbe by email.

Years 7-9. For these years, we will initially use packs to deliver work to complete independently. We will also use other online systems for setting work, such as Hegarty Maths, Bedrock Literacy and Sam Learning. All students should have logins for these systems (SAM Learning coming soon) but, if in doubt, contact your teacher
