Entry requirements

At the Harris Academy Chafford Hundred Sixth Form Consortium we offer two pathways of study: A-level or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. For each pathway there are two parts to our entry requirements.

  • Part One: Attainment 8 Score.

What is Attainment 8?

Attainment 8 is an average GCSE performance score that places particular importance on Maths, English and a selection of academic subjects. An average attainment 8 score of 4 means the student has, on average achieved 4s (equivalent to C grades); 5.5 means they have achieved an average of a B grade or a mixture of 5s and 6s.
