Our Uniform

HACH Uniform

At HACH, we pay carefuly attention to uniform standards. Uniform is an indication of students' pride in the HACH community and it sets the professional standard of the academy. In the HACH circle, all students wear their uniform correctly.

Please note that the HACH logo skirt is currently worn by Year 7 and Year 8 students only.

Uniform Issues

We aim to resolve any uniform concerns by working closely with students and their families. However, students who are not in correct uniform will not be permitted to take part in the usual activities of Academy life.

If a student arrives without the correct uniform:

  • Parents or carers may be asked to bring the appropriate items to school as soon as possible, or

  • Items may be loaned, or with parental permission, purchased from the Academy’s spare stock, or

  • The student may be asked to work in the Reflection Room until their uniform is corrected.

Cost

At HACH, we are committed to keeping uniform costs as low as possible. To achieve this:

  • Branded uniform is kept to a minimum.

  • In PE, only the top is branded, giving families choice over shorts and footwear.

  • Shirts, trousers, blouses, and similar items can be purchased from any retailer.

  • Our uniform design remains consistent, avoiding unnecessary expense.

  • The policy is reviewed annually to ensure it remains fair and appropriate.

  • Our supplier, Khalsa, provides durable, high-quality uniform at competitive prices.

Second-hand Uniform

HACH ensures that families have regular opportunities—at least once per term—to access good-quality second-hand uniform. We welcome donations throughout the year, which can be handed in at Reception.

Families who are experiencing financial difficulty with purchasing HACH uniform are encouraged to contact Mr N Uddin by calling the Academy on 01375 484580 or via email at n.uddin@harrischaffordhundred.org.uk.
