Student Leadership
At HACH, our Character Ambassadors are at the heart of student leadership. They are carefully selected students who consistently demonstrate our five core traits, kindness, grit, responsibility, confidence and zest in their day to day school life. These students don’t just talk about character; they live it, setting a powerful example for their peers to follow.
Character Ambassadors are visible role models across the school community. They welcome visitors with warmth, support younger students as mentors, and take pride in helping to build a culture of respect and high standards. They work alongside staff to promote positive behaviour, encourage their peers to make the right choices, and help ensure that our character values are woven into every aspect of school life.
The role also carries responsibility. Ambassadors are often the first to take part in community projects, support house events, or contribute to assemblies and school initiatives. They are trusted voices in student leadership, feeding back ideas and perspectives that help shape the future of our school.
Becoming a Character Ambassador is a significant achievement. It is recognition that a student has not only embodied our values but is ready to influence others by their example. Ambassadors develop confidence, leadership and communication skills that serve them well both in school and in life beyond HACH.
Above all, our Character Ambassadors remind us daily that character is not just something we talk about, it’s something we practise, celebrate and share.
