HACH Celebrates Year 11 Results

Congratulations to an outstanding Year 11 at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred

Students at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred are celebrating collecting their GCSE results today.

Over four-fifths (83%) of students secured at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths, with 66% achieving a Grade 5 – more than 20 percentage points higher than last year’s national average. The academy’s Attainment 8 score of 56.1 reflects the excellent performance of students.

Jamie Maxted, Head of Academy, said:

“We congratulate all our students but want to pay tribute, in particular, to D’Kai. Just ahead of the start of his examinations, D’Kai’s mother, his sole carer, passed away. Although we did all we could to comfort and support him, nothing can compensate for such a loss. Yet he showed the most incredible dedication, traveling to the academy each day from his uncle’s home in Gravesend, even showing up for study sessions before and after school, to secure his achievements. D’Kai achieved a selection of grade 8s, 7s and 6s.”

Rochelle, with seven grade 9s and two 8s has not only thrived in her academic career but also within the Year 11 Netball team with her contributing to the achievement of winning the U16 District Netball League and Rally Championships in 2025/26.

Others celebrating include Gabriela with eleven grade 9sAna with 8 9s, and:

Saniyah with five 9s and two grade 8s;

Adam with five 9s and three 8s;

Harry with three 9s, four 8s and two 7s;

“Results day is always a proud moment, and this year is no exception. Our students have set themselves high standards and met them, supported every step of the way by our brilliant staff. We wish them all the best for everything that comes next.”
